Garrett Bettersworth was born and raised in New Braunfels Texas. He caught the acting bug at a young age and begin performing in many plays and musicals in his hometown. He and his mother, Sherry Bettersworth, with the help of many others, formed a local non-profit theatre company called The Performing Arts Academy of New Braunfels, which continues in existence today. When Garrett is not working, he loves to return to his home town to help with the theatre by teaching acting classes and assisting with productions.
Garrett’s love for performing eventually led him to pursue a career in theatre, tv, film, and animation. He has worked on projects in Texas and California. In 2019 he starred in “The Children’s Crusade,” a short film about the struggles of war. In 2020 lent his voice to the character of Tim in “The Glove,” a web comic series. He continues to participate in several stage and film projects.
Garrett is currently working towards his Bachelor of Arts in Acting at Hussian College LA located on LA Center Studios. The experience has allowed him to further develop his skills as an actor and a storyteller.
